Summertime, as we as a whole know, is burger time. There's
nothing very like a decent, juicy burger, hot off the flame broil, with all
your preferred fixings – bacon, cheese, and some pleasant seared mushrooms.
Obviously, a customary burger likewise accompanies one other
thing: the bun. Also, for anyone who's trying to avoid carbs, that sort of
remains the entire dinner.
You won't miss the buns in these small but mighty
cheeseburger bites. They're keto-friendly, gluten-free, AND low-carb.
So for all you carb-avoiders, I've concocted a totally
different way to enjoy burgers without the bun. Rather, you serve all the
garnishes in – the burger itself!
INGREDIENTS:
- Ranch dressing, for serving
- Freshly ground black pepper
- Bread and butter pickles, for serving
- Chopped chives, for serving
- 2 1/2 c. shredded cheddar
- 8 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
- Kosher salt
- 2 lb. lean ground beef
DIRECTIONS;
- Preheat oven to 400°. In a medium bowl, toss the bacon with the cheddar cheese.
- Coat a 12-cup muffin tin with cooking spray. Season beef with salt and pepper. Add a small handful of beef to each muffin tin, then press up the sides to create a cup. Divide the bacon-and-cheese mixture evenly among the cups.
- Roast until beef is cooked through and cheese is melted, about 15 minutes. Let cool slightly.
- Using an offset spatula, release hamburger bowls from muffin tins. Drizzle with ranch dressing, sprinkle with chives, and serve with pickles.
